Tell us about your book
Send your text, your illustrations (finished or in progress), the trim size, and where you plan to publish. We’ll review them and confirm a quote and timeline.

Personalize your design
We agree on the fonts and how the text sits on each illustration, and plan the page turns so every spread reads well.

See a sample first
We lay out a few sample spreads with your text and art, so you can see the type and placement before we do the rest. You review them and ask for any changes.

We format the interior
Once you approve the samples, we lay out the full book, with the artwork running to the page edges where needed.

Review, revise, deliver
You review the full proof and we make revisions. We check the print files against your platform’s requirements, including trim and bleed, then deliver them.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take?
Allow up to 4 weeks from when you send the final text and illustrations. If you have a launch date, tell us when you get in touch and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
I don’t have illustrations yet. Do you make them?
No. We typeset around the illustrations you’ve commissioned. We’re happy to recommend illustrators if you need one.
Should I contact you before my illustrations are finished?
Yes, if you can. Once the trim size is settled, we can give your illustrator the exact page size, how far the art should extend past the page edge, and where to leave room for text. That saves redrawing later.
What illustration files do you need?
Send each illustration at 300 dpi at the size it will print, with the art extending past the page edge wherever it runs to the edge. Keep the words out of the artwork, so we can set them as type. If you’re not sure your files are ready, send one or two and we’ll check them.
Can you make a Kindle Kids or other ebook edition too?
Yes. We can produce a fixed-layout ebook alongside the print interior, so you launch in both formats at once. Print and ebook together start at $499.
Do you handle the cover?
No, we focus on the interior. Cover design is a separate craft, and we’re happy to recommend a trusted specialist if you need one.
